Tehran Refinery is situated in Baghershahr, southwest of Tehran. To meet its electricity and steam requirements, the decision was made to construct three 28 MW Hitachi gas turbines alongside three heat recovery steam generators. Amran, a leading firm in the engineering and implementation of power plants, was appointed as the EPC contractor by Ehsan Company for this project.

Amran is responsible for all aspects of basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of the plant. Additionally, Amran will install transformers, switchgears, diesel generators, AC/DC and UPS power supplies, lightning arrestors, earthing systems, and all associated cabling.
