Combined Cycle Power Plant

The South Isfahan Power Plant, constructed by MAPNA Company, is located 70 km along the Isfahan-Borojen road with capacity of 1000MW.
The management, investment, construction, and operation of the South Isfahan private power plant units have been carried out in coordination with Tavanir Company under the Energy Conversion Agreement (ECA). This project represents a pioneering instance of public-private sector collaboration in the country's electricity industry. The ECA contract originally projected a 36-month implementation schedule, which aimed to expedite the construction process. To this end, the involved parties agreed to a tight timeline via an addendum, focusing on early production and sequential operation of the power plant, unit by unit.
Ameran is honored to serve as a consulting engineer for this groundbreaking project, marking the first experience of private companies consulting, managing, investing in, constructing, and operating thermal power plants.
