The 132 kV Sulaymaniyah transmission line in Iraq has been awarded to the Ameran consortium, in partnership with its partner, following a competitive international tender. Stretching 153 km, Ameran is responsible for the design and engineering of the line, as well as the international procurement of necessary equipment for the project.
Thanks to the expertise of the consortium’s skilled engineers, the length of the line was successfully reduced by 10 km after receiving approval from a British project consultant, yielding significant cost savings for the employer.
