Osmosis Water Disalination Plant
Ameran has secured the contract from Sazeh Sazan for the installation of the Khalij-E-Fars Sea-Water Desalination Plant, which stands as the largest desalination facility in Iran. The plant's initial capacity is 200,000 m³/day (Phase 1), with the potential to supply up to 550 million m³ of water for the Hormozgan, Kerman, and Yazd provinces.
The Khalij-E-Fars Plant is equipped with two seawater inlet valves that direct water to the Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) tanks and the Dual Media Gravity Filter (DMGF) tanks. During this process, particles larger than 10 microns are removed, allowing the water to flow into 15 reverse osmosis units for freshwater production. This produced water is then blended with the distillate from the Multi Effect Distillation (MED) process to comply with Drinking Water Regulations for potable water.
As the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor for the comprehensive installation of the Khalij-E-Fars project, Ameran holds a vital responsibility in overseeing the entire process. This includes managing the engineering, procurement, installation, and thorough commissioning of all associated equipment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of the project's execution is handled with the utmost precision and expertise, guaranteeing high-quality results throughout all stages of development.
