Ameran's Roll in the Contract

Ameran, in partnership with its collaborators, committed to executing the comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction works for the Alsader 1 Extension 1&2 Power Plant, along with the construction of a 400 kV transmission line to transfer the total power generated by the plant to the Baghdad distribution network. The project's scope also includes the establishment of 400 kV and 132 kV GIS substations. The plan aims to maximize the use of Iranian-manufactured products while utilizing domestic labor for civil construction. Ameran provided complete engineering services, encompassing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for the Power Plant. Ameran and its partners managed the procurement of all plant equipment and materials based on Ameran's engineering specifications. Additionally, the scope included the construction components comprising civil works, erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and supervision during the guarantee period. Beyond these activities, AOC was also responsible for the management of engineering, procurement, and construction throughout the project.
